About Dr. Amira Mubarak Nasr
Dr. Amira brings over 25 years of legal and advisory experience across Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and international institutions, with particular expertise in project finance, corporate and commercial transactions, governance, and dispute-related advisory matters.
She advises local and international clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, infrastructure, construction, and dispute-related matters. Her current work includes advising on legal and governance due diligence, commercial risk allocation, contract administration, claims management during project execution, regulatory compliance, and dispute positioning in relation to commercial and construction matters.
Prior to joining Feras Al-Shawaf Law Firm, Dr. Amira served as a Legal Expert at the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), where she advised on sovereign and cross-border financing transactions, bilateral and syndicated loan arrangements, development projects, PPP frameworks, government-related transactions, and legal documentation relating to trade finance and investment structures across multiple African jurisdictions.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Amira worked with Saud Al Shawaf Law Firm, where she advised on corporate, commercial, construction, financing, and dispute-related matters within the Saudi market.
Her experience includes advising on financing and infrastructure transactions supporting development, industrial, and large-scale projects, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, financing documentation, corporate instruments, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance policies. She also advises on corporate structuring, legal risk assessment, procurement-related matters, and complex multi-party contractual arrangements.
In addition to her transactional and advisory work, Dr. Amira has extensive academic and legal research experience and previously lectured at the Faculty of Law, University of Khartoum, Sudan
